Question

The TV feels too warm or hot to the touch.

Answer

It is possible the LCD TV may feel warm or slightly hot to the touch after several hours of use. Since LCD TVs are thin and due to the smaller size of the cabinet enclosure, heat generated by the LCD panel backlight is more noticeable - especially on the top of the TV where the heat dissipates. The warm temperature is normal operation and should not be a cause for concern. This does not indicate a defect nor does it affect the reliability or life of the product.

As with all electronics product, ensure the TV has sufficient ventilation to avoid causing it to overheat. In addition, you can decrease the Backlight setting of the TV screen; this will reduce power consumption and produce less heat.
