Why does the Distance Alert sometimes not operate when children go close to the TV?

Question

Sometimes the Distance Alert does not operate even when children go close to the TV.

Answer

In rare occasions, the detection function may not work properly according to the conditions (i.e. sensor is facing a bright light source or the child moved quickly).
