Question

When disconnecting the IC Recorder/PCM recorder from the computer, the display of the IC recorder/PCM recorder “Connecting,” “PC LINK” or “PC CONNECT” does not turn off even though I performed “Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device.”

Answer

When using Windows® 7/Windows® Vista, “Connecting”, “PC LINK” or “PC CONNECT” is still displayed on the IC recorder/PCM recorder even though you have performed “Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device.”

After you have confirmed that the operation indicator on the IC recorder/PCM recorder does not light, perform “Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device” on the Windows screen. At that time, “Connecting”, “PC LINK” or “PC CONNECT” remains being displayed but you can disconnect the IC recorder/PCM recorder from the USB port of the computer.
