Question

A warning message appears on the LCD screen when a Memory Stick is inserted into the camera.

Answer

The following could be possible causes for the error message to appear:
  1. Verify that the Memory Stick is inserted correctly.
  2. The inserted Memory Stick cannot be used in the camera. Refer to the related link below for compatible Memory Stick.
  3. The Memory Stick is damaged.
  4. The terminal section of the Memory Stick is dirty.
