New Delhi, December 01, 2008: Sony continues its strategy of debuting new products this season with Xplōd® CDX-GT45IP CD Receiver that is loaded with popular features supporting a wide range of auxiliary devices. The features include made-for-iPod hardwired dedicated input cable that charges the device and provides full menu control for most iPod models. All the iPod track data is displayed on the head unit's LCD display, while the player is charged.
And, as if that were not enough, the CDX-GT45IP player also provides a front panel auxiliary input for the connection of a MP3, mini-disc or cassette player. The head units enhances the sound quality of compressed audio files such as MP3, WMA and AAC files thereby allowing the use of downloaded music files for hours of entertainment. The 24 bit D/A conversion allows for increased accuracy in playback over a wide range of media formats and compression rates than other products in this category. The Xplōd® CDX-GT45IP incorporates a MOSFET 52Wx4 channel amplifier as well two preouts for adding other gear such as subwoofers.
Along with CD and iPod functions, the CDX-GT45IP also has FM/AM & LW tuners with 18 FM and 12 AM preset buttons. BTM (best tuning memory) allow easy tuning by picking up the strongest local stages and automatically setting them in frequency order to the preset buttons. Alternatively, the tuner also allows auto tuning and manual tuning so that the owner can choose which station is stored under each button.
The CDX-GT45IP model is designed with traditional Xplōd® design ~ a retro, sporty look with red illumination buttons, an intuitive operation and audible benefits that are evident. In addition, this set comes with Remote Commander® that makes it easy to control the music from the front or the back of the car.
