The groove running along the outer edge around the LCD and palm rest not only looks great, it is the Rigid Arc structure that minimises distortion from external pressures to improve durability. The palm rest is moulded out of a one-piece aluminium plate. And to assure reliability, VAIO X Series is put through intensive durability tests to prove their ability to perform in active real-life situations.

Comfortable input with keyboard and touchpad
Despite its extreme thinness, VAIO X Series is equipped with an ample sized keyboard that provides a comfortable feel when typing. What's more, the comfortably-sized touch pad supports multi-finger gestures like circle scroll, zoom and flick navigation, in addition to the usual scroll and drag actions.
All essential connectors on-board
VAIO X Series is so slim and light, yet it doesn't skimp on usability. Its Ethernet connector will let you access the Internet from your hotel room. Also equipped as standard is a VGA terminal – a necessity for businesspeople who want to show their presentations through a projector.
