How to change the location where Temporary Internet Files are saved to.

Applies to Internet Explorer 7.0  
  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
  3. Click the General label, and then click the Settings button in the Browsing History window. 
     

 

4. In the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings window, click Move folder button.


5. Select the drive and folder to save Temporary Internet Files, click the OK button.

6. * Here we select the D:/ disk for example

 

 

7. Return to the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings window, click the OK button.

 

8. When the Log Off screen displays, click the YES button.

 


9. Windows will log off and restart automatically.

How to change the quota of disk space to use for Temporary Internet Files.

Applies to Internet Explorer 7.0

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
  3. Click the General tab, and then click the Setting button in Browsing History.
  4. Click ▲ or ▼ of theDisk space to use item in the Temporary Internet Files, set arbitrary values, then click the OK button.
  5. Return to the previous Internet Options window, and then click the OK button.
