I turn on the checkbox of "Save Password" when I connect my computer to the Internet. When I connect it to the Internet next time, I find the checkbox of "Save Password" turned off.

I turn on the checkbox of "Save Password" when I connect my computer to the Internet. When I connect it to the Internet next time, I find the checkbox of "Save Password" turned off.

Check the following, which might cause the problem.

1. The password is saved only when the Internet connection is normally established. When you turn on the checkbox of "Save Password", be sure to connect your computer to the Internet.

2. The PWL filter might possibly be broken.
Remove the PWL filter or change the extension first and log on to you computer once again.

3. It may be the problem of setting networking.
Reinstall "Client for Microsoft Networks".

(Procedure)

1. Right-click the "Network Neighborhood" icon on the desktop and then click "Properties".

2. When the list of the installed network components appears on the "Network" window, select "Client for Microsoft Networks" and click the "Remove" button.
* When you cannot find "Client for Microsoft Networks" on the list, skip the procedure 2 and proceed to the procedure 3.

3. Click the "Add" button.

4. Click "Client" on the window of "Select Network Component Type" and click the "Add" button.

5. When the "Select Network Client" window appears, click "Microsoft" in "Manufacturer" and then click "Client for Microsoft Networks" on "Network Clients".

6. Click the "OK" button in the bottom of the window.

7. The "Network" window appears again. Change the list box of "Primary Network Logon" to "Windows Logon".

8. Click the "OK" button in the bottom of the window.

9. When the dialog box of "System Settings Change" appears, restart the computer as prompted.
