How to change the initial selection of OS in the boot menu on startup of Windows 2000.

Want to change OS selected in the initial state in the boot menu on startup.

Can change OS selected in the initial state in the boot menu on startup in the following procedures.

(Note): When you have converted the disk to the dynamic disk, you cannot set the multiboot (collateral boot) of Windows 2000 and Windows98/NT.

(Procedures)

1. Right-click "My Computer" on the desktop and select "Properties". "System Properties" appears.

2. Select the "Advanced" tab and press the "Startup and Recovery" button.

3. Check if the checkbox of "Display list of operating systems for X seconds." in "System startup" is ticked and select OS from the list box.
Note that, in the list box, Windows95, Windows98 and Windows ME are displayed as "Microsoft Windows".

The settings are over. The set OS will appear from the next startup.
