Error: 2200 appears on the TV when trying to access the network connection.

This error is displayed when you cannot connect to the internet or the Internet signal is lost.

Circumstances that contribute to this error include high local network traffic and interference from other electronic devices.

If you are using a wireless connection, connecting the TV directly to the router or modem via an Ethernet cable could resolve this error.

Follow the steps below to further troubleshoot this issue.

NOTE: Because each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the network connection status after completing each step. This is a generic procedure, so the menu of the TV may look slightly different from below.

  1. Power off the router or modem for 1 minute and then turn it on again. IMPORTANT: Wait at least 5 minutes after the power cycle before checking the Internet connection status.

  2. Take off the AC cord of the TV for 1 minute and turn it on again.  

  3. Test the Network connection to the TV to confirm that the network status is OK. This can be done by pressing the HOME button from the supplied remote and selecting Settings > Network > Network Set-up > View Network setting and status > Check Connections > Select Yes. If the results for the connection tests performed do not show OK follow these additional troubleshooting steps .

  4. Repeat the Network Setup function. The Internet connection is checked during the Network Setup process and issues with an old or inaccurate IP addresses will be resolved.

  5. If the software version of the television is old, the problem may improve by updating the software to the latest one. Refer to:

  6. Reset the television to the original factory settings. Refer to:

    NOTE: After resetting the television to factory settings, you need to reset the wireless/wired network communication. For how to set the network settings, see below.

  7. If the firmware of your router is old, there is a possibility that the problem will be improved by updating the version to the latest firmware.

    NOTE: For details on how to update a router, contact the router manufacturer.


  8. Change the Default Domain Name Server (DNS) to a Public DNS.
    1. Using the supplied remote, press the Home button.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Network.
    4. Press the Enter button.
    5. Select Network Settings.
    6. Select Wired/Wireless Setup.
    7. Select Custom or Enter Manually.
    8. Enter the IP Address.

      NOTE: The IP (Internet Protocol) address is provided by the router and can be located using a computer. Refer to the manual supplied with the router or contact the router manufacturer for additional information.

    9. Enter either of the following Public DNS numbers: 4.2.2.2 or 8.8.8.8

NOTE: Using Public DNS can often improve Internet routing speeds and help resolve this issue. However, you may still want to write down your Default DNS for reference later.

IMPORTANT:

  • It is important to perform the Refresh Internet content function after network is working in order to receive all Internet content. This can be done by pressing the Home button from the supplied remote control and selecting Settings > Network > Refresh Internet Content.
  • An Internet connection speed of 2.5 Mbps or higher is required for standard-definition (SD) programming.
  • An Internet connection speed of 10 Mbps or higher is required for high-definition (HD) programming.
